Routine

‘Routine’ is a short psychological narrative game centered around the feeling of being trapped in an endless daily cycle. The player wakes up every morning and performs the same set of simple tasks — turn off the alarm, brush, eat, and leave. Each loop subtly changes, introducing strange distortions in sound, light, and logic until the player realizes they’re trapped in a loop. The game expresses the jam theme “Here We Go Again” through emotional repetition rather than just restarts or deaths

It can be completed in a short session, but every playthrough can reveal new surprises. Will you survive the monotony… or let it consume you?

This game was made for the Epic Megajam 2025.
